Riser Permanent Surveillance System

Most companies are struggling with reacting to risers failure; stress corrosion cracking is one of the reasons. Instead of a reactive approach, Cambridge Research and Technology (CRATIV1) proposes a Riser Permanent Surveillance System (RPSS). CRATIV1 already has the architecture for the system; if you are interested, we can develop it for you. Please, contact us (info@crativ1.com)if you would like to converse about it; feel free to share this with your colleagues.

System for permanent monitoring of subsea flexibles (pipes)

Most companies are also struggling to perform subsea surveillance of the flexibles lying on the seafloor. Instead of a reactive approach, Cambridge Research and Technology (CRATIV1) proposes a system that performs permanent monitoring of subsea flexibles. CRATIV1 already has the architecture for the system; if you are interested, we can develop it for you. Please, contact us (info@crativ1.com)if you would like to converse about it; feel free to share this with your colleagues.

Vision through crude oil

Our Crude Oil Vision System concept enables vision through crude oil inside storage tanks to optimize their inspection, repairs, and maintenance. This would eliminate the expensive process of emptying the tanks before servicing them. Some of its characteristics: 1. Operated either remotely or autonomously. 2. Beams the data in real time, or stores it to be analyzed later. 3. Optimizes the number of operators or robots inspecting and repairing storage tanks and the time they take in these tasks. Please, contact us (info@crativ1.com)if you would like to converse about it; feel free to share this with your colleagues.

Tracking drilling pipe and casing dimensions next to the rig

A system that can measure the pipes dimensions—length, diameters, and tolerances— can help O&G operators optimize the number of field operators handling and inspecting pipe and the time these tasks take. A system like this can also help to make pipes’ information available at any time and any place where the O&G company needs needs it; moreover, it can enable the robotic handling of pipes  by the rig. If you are interested we can survey and analyze technology that can enable this system while assessing the cost benefit of each one; identify engineering concepts that integrate these technologies; demonstrate the top ranked concept by integrating predominantly commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components, and perform bench top tests.  One of the several parameters we will use to assess the different technologies and rank the concepts will be the possibility to integrate predominantly Commercial Off-The-Shelf(COTS) components, so you can get the solution in a few weeks.  If you are interested contact us for information at info@crativ1.com
